Sonja Swanson

Sonja is the Owner and Chief Executive Officer of Virtual Service Management Company. She provides direction and support for our team. She has a background in Finance and business operations. Her expertise in finance and funding allow us to move forward with confidence to meet our objectives.

Richard Peasley

Richard Peasley is the Managing Director of VSM Corporation dba ITSMI. He has over 25+ years of IT experience, the last twenty of which were spent managing and developing service-oriented practices. He is currently focused on IT Service Management consulting and education. He has delivered results to many large financial and manufacturing organizations and successfully enabled many of these in their transition to service-oriented operations. While working at BMC Software, he was instrumental in advancing key customers using his Service Management methodologies and industry leading practices. He was a charter member of BMC Solution Architecture team and developed BSM methodology and training materials for the practice. He also worked for Cap Gemini as a Principle Architect on Multiple projects. He also has experience in managing IT operations for a number of large manufacturing and financial companies on a global basis. He has an MBA from the University of South Dakota with a specialty in Decision Support. His certifications include ITIL Service Manager and V3 Expert including all Service Capability and Service Lifecycle certifications. He is a Certified Fellow in Production and Inventory Management (CFPMIMI) by APICS, Certified in Integrated Resource Management (CIRM) by APICS, He has presented at itSMF USA, Learning Universe, Kalthoff International, Professional Pricing Society, APICS International, and INTEREX (HP)

Denis Esslinger

Denis has over 20 years of IT experience with proven success in both corporate and non-profit organizations.  He is a certified ITIL® Expert that excels at developing sound strategies and implementing people focused processes to improve the quality and reduce the cost of providing IT services.  Denis is a highly accomplished results oriented team builder who develops strong relationships with executives, staff and clients through open communications and commitment.  He is an active itSMF member being selected the 2005 Member of the Year and chairing their 2005 and 2007 conferences.
